Privacy Policy
Glippy's core tracking is free, works without an account, and saves your data on your device. Data leaves only when you export it, contact support, or choose paid Cloud Backup.
Last updated: July 17, 2026This policy covers the Glippy app and this website. Glippy is published by the developer identified on the App Store listing. For privacy requests, questions, or complaints, email nitzanside@gmail.com.
Glippy lets you record weight, GLP-1 shots, medication and dose details, injection areas and sides, notes, optional cycle dates, goals, and reminder preferences. During local-only use, this information is stored on your device and is not sent to Glippy. Local use needs no account and includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
Imports use files you select. Exports are created only when you request them and remain wherever you save or share them. Exported JSON files are not protected by a separate Glippy password, so you should store and share them carefully. Notification permissions and delivery are controlled by your device settings.
Cloud Backup is an optional paid subscription. Local tracking remains free without it. If you choose Cloud Backup, Glippy uses Sign in with Apple to create an account and stores one account-based backup containing the Glippy data you chose to record.
The cloud service may process your Apple account email or private-relay address, Glippy user ID, subscription status and product, an installation identifier, backup and update timestamps, and the contents of your backup. Backup contents may include health information, medication and dose details, weight, notes, and optional reproductive-health information.
Account, purchase-status, and backup data are processed to authenticate you, provide the paid backup and restore service, protect the service, troubleshoot failures, and meet legal obligations. Where the GDPR applies, account and subscription processing is based on performing the service you request, security and legal obligations rely on legitimate interests or applicable law, and cloud processing of health or reproductive-health data relies on your consent.
Cloud Backup cannot work without the account and backup data described above. You can withdraw consent and stop future cloud processing by using Delete account and data in Glippy. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Apple provides Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, billing, and subscription management. RevenueCat provides subscription-status infrastructure. Supabase provides cloud authentication, database storage, and account-deletion functions. Vercel hosts this website.
These providers process the categories needed for their roles under their own terms and privacy notices. Glippy does not sell personal data, use health or cycle data for advertising, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Some service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are protected through an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard used by the relevant provider. Contact us if you want more information about safeguards applicable to your data.
This website contains no advertising or analytics scripts. It saves only your day-or-night theme choice in your browser's local storage. Vercel may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested page, and timestamps to deliver and secure the site. No consent banner is used because the theme preference is requested by you and the site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
If you email support, Glippy receives your email address and anything you include in the message. This information is used to answer your request, investigate problems, prevent abuse, and maintain necessary legal records. Avoid sending health details or screenshots of your logs unless they are necessary. Messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and applicable legal requirements.
Local data remains until you delete it in Glippy, reset the app, or remove the app. Exported files remain wherever you save or share them. Cloud data and the Glippy cloud account remain until you use Delete account and data; cancelling a subscription alone does not delete them. That control removes the current local data, cloud backup, and Glippy cloud account.
Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction, subscription, security, or compliance records under their own retention rules. Glippy's current account-deletion flow does not cancel your Apple subscription; manage cancellation separately through Apple.
Glippy encrypts its local app-data store on supported devices and uses device security features to protect the local encryption key. Cloud access is account-based and communications use secure network connections. Cloud backups are not end-to-end encrypted with a separate user-only passphrase. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal data; object to certain processing; and withdraw consent. You may also have the right to appeal a denied request. Email nitzanside@gmail.com to exercise a right. We may need enough information to verify your request.
If you are in the EEA, you may complain to your local supervisory authority or the Austrian Data Protection Authority. You are not required to use the in-app deletion control before contacting an authority.
Where consumer-health privacy laws apply, the health-data categories processed through optional Cloud Backup are the entries you provide, including weight, shots, medication and dose, injection sites, notes, goals, and optional cycle information. The source is you or a file you choose to import. The purposes and provider categories are described above. Glippy does not sell this data. You may request access or deletion using the contact above.
Glippy is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided cloud or support data without appropriate permission, contact us. Glippy does not use personal data for solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Glippy records what you enter and provides planning estimates. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical advice. Do not change medication based on Glippy or rely on period or ovulation estimates for contraception or fertility decisions. Consult a qualified clinician for medical and reproductive-health decisions.
This policy may change when Glippy's features, providers, or legal obligations change. The updated date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate app or website notice.
In short. Local tracking is free and stays on your device. If you choose paid Cloud Backup, account, subscription, device, and backup data are processed to provide that service. Glippy does not sell this data or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
